I don't disagree, Stephen, and yes, this is optimism, but I have always been a realist. There is an element of society that will always self-sabotage. It's in our DNA. There is another that will always take the short-term over the long-term, because it, too, is human nature. But the actions (socially, politically and structurally) that the youngest generations have taken are unlike any we've seen. It may or may not be in my lifetime (though likely), but it will happen. Because if anything, humans are also great at pivoting during crisis when it's their only option for survival. We'll get there.

Again, 77% of congress is old. The moment that changes, everything else does, too.
